After running System Recovery, I don't understand what happened to Accounts. During setup when asked for the account name, I supplied the same name I was using prior to Recovery, "ABC123". Now when I look in Documents and Settings, I see accounts for both ABC123 and ABC123.LAPTOP. "LAPTOP." is the Computer Name I supplied during setup. All the old application data (before Recovery) is still in Documents and Settings\ABC123\Local Settings\Application Data". New application data (after logging on as ABC123 is being placed in "Documents and Settings\ABC123.LAPTOP\Local Settings\Application Data". But the interesting thing is that ABC123.LAPTOP doesn't appear as an Account on the Login screen. Can I safely delete the "Documents and Settings\ABC123.LAPTOP\: tree? Can someone refer me to a writeup on this post-Recovery behavior?
